Any pinball fans?

Any of you guys pinball fans? I have been watching and playing them over the past few years. Have really wanted to purchase one of the Rock & Roll themed machines. I was close on the Iron Maiden machine but put it on hold when I heard about this.

So, I have pre-ordered one of the Led Zeppelin Limited Editions. Should be really cool.

Grew up with two machines in my parent’s basement. Playboy and F-14 Tomcat. I always enjoyed the multilevel tables. Haunted House was a favorite back in the day. Looks like you made a good choice. Enjoy!

  • Looks pretty cool, congratulations on the purchase. Stern seems to make the best machines, in my opinion. 'Pirates of the Caribbean' is another cool one by Stern.
I grew up on pinball and still can't pass one up without digging in my pocket for some change.
A few years back I was able to beat the Stern 'Lord of the Rings', and destroyed the ring on just one play. I think it took over a half hour to do it. The "Shoot Again" is one of the most important things to aim for.

Thanks. Been wanting one for some time. This one fits my needs. Seems like a cool way to pass a Friday or Saturday night. And wife likes to be challenged by the play. That might come in handy....even when she beats me. Oh dang!!!

As I look around on the used market, it's nice to see that the machines hold 50-75% of their value

This is one of the main reasons I got the LE. Once all of the 3 versions go out of production the LE’s generally increase in value. That is as long as the theme is still desirable. Not that I am getting it for resale but you never know.

Even if I set it for one dollar per game I’m not sure it would ever pay for itself.

Added the sub (PSW-10) and that really added to the excitement.
