Recent external build

I consider this to be a prototype/proof of concept build

Laser cut delrin substrates
Custom component rings
Stainless hardware
Back pack build
Having a custom brscket made that mounts to the bottom of the speaker snd this will then bolt on to the bracket.

    It's good to be on team Trey! I'm happy to be his guinea pig B) The only shame is that these works of art will be out-of-sight on the back, but at least folks will be able to HEAR the artistry.

    Cool. Let’s see how things go over the next year and we might get something in the plans.

    Resistor mounts?

    VR3 Posts: 27,968
    Yes you can see them in use on the original pictures, they clip on to the board via friction and the resistors slide right in, keeps them off the board, plenty of breathing room all the way around

    Thank you!

    Im using a glowforge plus which is as powerful as the pro but is not cooled to where you can run it all day.

    Still incredibly light duty for a laser at $4k but it gives me some creative freedoms that would be impossible if I had to outsource said fabrication.

    @VR3,

    Creative, beautiful to look at, superb craftsmanship, and if my prior experience is any indication, the sound quality will be extraordinary!

    Nicely done, Trey! :)

    We're getting a bit tired of "hibernating," but we are fortunate to live in an area where we can get out for reasonably long walks from time to time. We hope for a mild winter! My age and medical conditions make me reluctant to get out where there are likely to be many people.

    I hope you are doing well during this pandemic.
