Uhg, the life of having a cat. One of the saddest accidents that can happen, but my monitor 40 was nocked over by my cat and I didn't notice it for a while, but it broke the tweeter when it fell. Is there any sort of replacement tweeter I can buy and possibly install it myself?
Thanks so much

I've bought Polk parts from here before. -
I know this is an old thread, but I wanted to bring this to people’s attention in case anyone else runs into the same issue.
The original Polk tweeter assembly can be hard to find because the tweeter is glued into the plastic face plate. A workable replacement is the Eminence SD28 tweeter, but it needs to be mounted into a compatible face plate/adapter.
The basic process is to buy the Eminence SD28 tweeter, remove the old tweeter assembly, glue the SD28 into the adapter plate, and then screw the new assembly back into the speaker using the factory holes.
I recently designed a PETG adapter plate for this exact purpose. It lets the Eminence SD28 mount in place of the original Polk tweeter assembly. I listed a few on eBay here for anyone who needs one:
