Me thinks this thread has committed the informal fallacy of equivocation with the term sacred...

off-grid access (as opposed to a net metering system) to one's PV array will keep the juice flowin' -- at least when the sun shines and it's not too smoky. :|

We're net metering here, though -- so when the grid goes down, it's time to hook up the generator. :(

I like the idea of electric...see the stats? NICE.

But that front end...come-on man! Ford couldn't come up with something better? That pony on the grill PANEL looks like a standard peel-and-stick 2.00 decal. Come-on!

The rear pony sticker looks cheap too.

    That said...I'd love a ride from a stand still to 60mph! :p

I can easily remember the original Mustang ads in the Life magazine my parents subscribed to. Yes, I was about 13 and new cars were a Big Deal. So, the use of the Mustang name for this is a perfect abomination. But it will sell.

I wish they would of just made it a Fairlane or Torino.
Anything but Mustang. But I guess I'm just a relic of another era.
After three Mustangs, I might never own a forth.
They are going to kill it off, or just go with the morph to
The more lucrative SUV market. Will Chevy follow there lead?

The Mustang coupe isn’t going anywhere, but there will be more sub models in the future. I hear there is even a sedan on the table.
2 channel: Anthem 225 Integrated amp; Parasound Ztuner; TechnicsTT SL1350; Vincent PHO-8 phono pre; Marantz CD6005 spinner; Polk SDA2BTL's; LAT International speaker cables, ZU Mission IC's and power cables all into a PS Audio Dectet Power center.

Other; M10 series II, M7C's, Hafler XL600 amp, RB-980BX, Parasound HCA-1500 amp , P5 preamp, all in storage. All vintage Polk have had crossover rebuilds and tweeter upgrades.

The best way to predict the future is to invent it.

I think it should have been named the Focus electric SUV, but I also thought the Mustang II looked more like a Pinto than a Mustang, so I’m obviously not a marketing guy.

That's because it WAS a Pinto. They were both based on the same platform.

But the Mustang II revolutionized the world!
Mustang II front ends go into a lot of
hot rod upgrades. It was about American cars
finally updating suspension to something better.
But that's about the only thing remarkable about them.
And it would be another 10 years before real muscle started
showing back up. That was what Fox body was good for.
Life support for American V8 performance. It put cheap
cars in the hands of people to build fast cars.

I guess it depends what you mean by "based on the same platform".
Lots of people think the Mustang II is just a Pinto with a different body.

Here's an example of the not-a-Pinto side. The guy interviewed here works for Ford and at the time of this article was still driving the Cobra version of the Mustang II.
