I'm not into the scream that much but this chick does it good.I've listened to some of Jinjer's other stuff some is great with others with too much scream

Ive been into Metal since Metal was a thing. When this style of music came out I was totally not a fan. I couldn't understand why so many bands added it to their style like how pop bands feel the need to repeat words 3 times.
As a musician I never felt following trends where my way to express my music. It never feels genuine. I usually can't understand what they are saying which takes away the experience for me.
Yes they are talented and I feel most newer bands today are packed with talent. So many younger musicians are so much more talented then when I was growing up.
I think the song has a good feel to it if you remove the screaming thing. I just don't feel or follow that style and I actually thing it takes away from most bands art.Dan
My personal quest is to save to world of bad audio, one thread at a time. -
Talented, yes, but that screaming is just not my cup of hemlock.
So, are you willing to put forth a little effort or are you happy sitting in your skeptical poo pile?

I'm not a big fan of the screamO metal, Give me some hair metal or better yet my 70's stuff and I'm good all day.
I went through this Jinjer band disc, some it great to hit the skip button. The singer has a great normal singing voice, I find it amazing how she can go from normal to a growling beast and back, lots of talent there.
good music for work but not too much for the house. When I was a kid my parents told me to turn it down. Now I'm an adult and my kids tell me to turn it down.

AHH!
Wow, is that her singing, or a vocal effect?
If I could do that, I'd have fun playing jokes on people with that voice.I disabled signatures. -

yeah I hear you Scott, not my full cup of tea either. I'm not into the demon growling either. I went through all their disk, came up with a play list of about 8 or 9 songs total. Bummer too because that chick has a great singing voice, That band has a ton of talent too, now if they would go full rock that would be great. At work it's ok I can't play it loud, at home on the 705's that list shrinks to about 5.
I'll take my Scorpions and Rush all day every day. Need the wife to stop this work for home B.S. I need to open up the 705's on more than just movies. When I was a kid my parents told me to turn it down. Now I'm an adult and my kids tell me to turn it down.

Darn it. I was going to buy two of their downloads from HDTracks this week, and forgot all about it, so I got two other downloads. Maybe next Friday, if I remember. Stupid stroke.
