    The first place to begin would be with Polk at: 1-800-377-7655 and select option 1.

    The signal input into the bar must be too low... Check to see if there is a way to adjust the volume level for the optical output on your tv or device? Make sure TV speakers are turned off in audio settings menu in TV as well. If you must, turn up the source/tv and turn down the bar itself to prevent this.
