Maybe your a lawyer? Maybe not? If so, you know other cops have been charged with 1st degree after it was determined that the use of deadly force was unnecessary, right? If not go read up on it.

Yes, the facts have to be investigated, analyzed, and this has to go to trial.

However, I saw four officers with a man pinned to the ground for no other reason than to kill him. There were no signs of resistance, nor where they trying to put him in the car to transport to the station. They were determined that he was to leave in an ambulance.

If you saw something different that fine. In my eyes I saw a man that should be charged with 1st degree murder.

What I wonder is why the police had him on the ground by the car. Other released video shows the police sitting him down against a building. Then the released videos show him on the ground next to a car with the police holding him down with the knee to the throat. What did he do between sitting on the sidewalk and being in the street on the ground.

I think the police crossed the line and had no consideration of the life George Floyd.

Imagine that was your dad or son, would it be ok??

Probably won’t see a murder charge but I think it should be.

I saw a video that shows the cops get him up off the sidewalk and walk him across the street. Just as they got on the other side of the vehicle they fell. Between when they fell and the video of them holding him down he couldn’t have done much. He was cuffed with hands behind back and face down.

All due respect, you are creating a straw-man, then proceeding to argue with it. I have not heard anyone coming out in support of what they witnessed the police officers in question do on that video. The voices on this are overwhelmingly unified.

That said, murder 1 is going to be tough to prove in this case. I’m not saying it can’t be proven, but establishing planning/forethought seems like it will be extremely difficult. Murder 2 maybe, but most likely manslaughter.

Let the justice system work, and while we’re at it, how about a unified voice against the rioting and looting (I’m talking to YOU, mainstream media...)

I dunno man....are people fair game, up to and including death, if they resist arrest from the police? The fact that the 2nd officer just stood there while he was having his windpipe crushed made it that much worse.

We don't know what the cause of death was yet, so stop spreading speculation as fact. The guy may have had a heart attack for all we know. We also know that he had a decades long rap sheet from Texas and was a parolee for a violent felony with a firearm, so the guy was certainly no saint.

Lets wait for the facts please.

Yep... to state facts is now an attack. The cop was no saint either, and had multiple excessive force complaints as well. Feel better?

To the regulars that spew thier BS here's to you. The 10 minutes with the knee to the neck and throat area was uncalled for regardless of the guys state of health. The officer doing the knee has been reprimanded before for excessive force. That guy needs to be locked up for life which wont be long once he hits the showers! Yep Alma close this one down.

I fail to see how asking everyone to wait for facts is placing a foot in one's mouth. I, and anyone else saying that is asking for reason to prevail and justice to be done in accordance with the law.

Everyone else, yourself included are the ones at risk of foot in mouth disease if the facts of the case go against your position. The only position I take is lets get the truth.

Yes, all should wait until the facts come out. Also, Yes, murder 1, murder 2 will be tough especially given what we've seen in the past. Still, how many times is this going to happen and the cop gets off with manslaughter? Too many times. ...and yes, the rioting and looting just makes a bad situation even worst.

I hope the FACTS come out and justice is served. I have no ill will against anyone here. If one can't vent in the Clubhouse then where can one vent? Exactly....not here.

I am not going to engage in that because I was not there. The video looks bad, but I also know there is more to this than a video. I want facts, and justice meted out based on those facts. I will not get drawn into speculation as that serves neither the victim nor the accused.

To think I was going to post a picture of a guy stepping on his D..K but wanted to keep it forum friendly believe me the guy stepping on his D..k was more appropriate.

The guy didnt appear to be overly aggressive cuff him put him back in the squad car fill out your report and call it a night. Yep that officer is going to pay for it first trip to the Jailhouse shower, but lucky for him they will put the coward in protective custody.
