WOW!!!! 😀😊🤩🤤🤯 It is everything I love about the Hafler DH-220 bass, and the A23 mids and highs, but all of it even better with more clarity and distinction, but most of all impact. It is extremely musical as well. Most everything I have listened to so far sounds better. I swear it is louder but the speakers are working less to produce the same volume and bass. This amp will not be going anywhere for a long while if ever.

Backstory:
Based on recommendations here I had been looking to find a McCormack DNA 225 or 250 for a while. I missed out on some and passed on others because of price. Then I happened to stumble across this platinum edition at tmraudio. It was more than my planned budget, but well worth it.

Thank you all who recommended McCormack amps!

That is fantastic! I really enjoyed the DNA-125 I had which was modded by Bob Backert and it is now owned by Dave @verb

I think that it also pairs very well with brighter sounding speakers if you are looking to take the edge off. Great mids, very solid bass, excellent details, and a very wide soundstage.

Awesome!. I had them upgrade a DNA-1 and I agree it is very musical. Word of caution, as I'm sure you're already aware to turn things off when changing cables...but the speaker outputs are fully exposed, easy to drop a banana connector across both terninals and take out a fuse or 2.

Mine responded favorably to a Synergistic blue fuse for the mains.

    Enjoy!

Great amplifier,I bought a nice Italian made Lector Zoe tube preamplifier online from the music room several months ago. i had a issue with a single tube that started making noise and going microphonic as soon as i started using it,I email them and let them know about it.they said that they would replace the tube.four days later i received a quad of 6922's free of charge.they are good people who stand behind what they sell.

Congrats. Looks like ya got yourself a beautiful beast there.
The Music Room was good to me as well. Picked up a brand new Acurus A 2007 a while back from them and have had zero issues with it. Pure magic is all. Again Congrats and enjoy.

I do love the McCormack! Currently in hibernation as a backup. Yes I'm ashamed. I need to build another system!
