Got the Monkey off my back!!!

tizmnsqdk921.jpg
Made the final payment on the Double wide took 25 years but the big M is finally off my back oh yeah the platinum card I like to spend at Audiovisor and PayPal is at 0 balance.

I also got my refund from tickets purchased on the canceled June 10th Tool show. I wish there was a Bar and Grill open to go celebrate this achievement plus celebrate the wife's B-Day. I think were going to fill the truck with buck a gallon gas pick up a couple 40 ozers head out to our secret spot listen to tunes gaze at the stars and let things lead to things.
The rule is no new audio stuff for a while.

Thanks guys it's a feeling that's hard to explain the feeling, but it's a good one the best part when it is not necessary to scratch that check at the end of the month anymore.

Yep, it is very empowering writing that last check for that mortgage. I paid mine off lump sum about 8 years ago.

Now if we could only pay off the taxes once and for all.

    Congrats.

I get that man. I thought many times about selling my house and buying a bigger one with a 4 car garage . I currently only have 2 car garage.
What this disaster time has taught me is that spending money on things that really aren't necessary is pretty important.Still enjoying life but not going to the end of your means. Having deep savings is also a hug Key. I have not been paid in almost a month now and I'm still holding on. I'm waiting on Unemployment to kick in and hopefully the stimulus check but I'm still good for at least now.
Once thing whole thing is behind us and we can get back to a sorta normal living I plan on restricting our budget to focus harder on paying things off.

Thanks again guys. Yeah the bugs bit me a time or to to buy a bigger place, but when our daughter moved on and the grandkids are now in thier teens, we really didnt need to buy another. It's just me and the wife 3 bedrooms finished basement, 2 car garage and a fenced in yard for 2 people were good.

Once our daughter started her own life she bought her own house a block away so we dont need lots of room for packing them in on get togethers they come celebrate and can walk back home how convient. I started putting in couple hundred extra on the principal, which helped speed things up. Next plan is to retire early sell and move.

I am never paying off my house, as a matter of fact, I am refinancing a new 30 year. Cheap money and will be paying it back in even cheaper money! If rates stay this low I will "cash-out" again.
