Legalize it all - marijuana, cocaine, heroin, meth, mushrooms, all of it. If people want to “self medicate”, then let them do it to their heart’s content. Just don’t make me (taxpayer) pay for it, and throw the book at anyone driving under the influence.

My guess is it becomes like home beer brewing. A lot of people are going to
have a few plants in the back yard. It will not be as potent, but it will be pretty
easy to grow. The whole commercial grow thing is going to go bust.
I have no interest at all, but don't care if other partake.

The part I don't understand is the consumer....EVEN IF a legal seller is more expensive than an illegal seller....why risk it? Although I am out of this realm, I would think a legal seller could keep the quality same or better? I dunno....

Legal pot dispensaries are like convenience stores. People pay inflated prices just for the conveience.

So no commercial growers aren't going anywhere, just like commercial brewers.

It all comes down to price. Once the guy on the street can
plant a few next to the rose bush in the back yard, you'll
see a fall in demand. There will be growers, just not
on the current scale. Weed is $$$. Unless is drops, a lot
of DIY is coming once the law backs off. It ain't rocket science.
The law is the only thing stopping a lot of people.

Fake news Bruce. It's all in the seed just like anything else. BIG difference is that LARGE grows are going to clone more often than starting from seed every time. Letting plants go to seed means you also have male plants in the grow which can cause unwanted cross pollination from clothing or other contamination.

Sounds like a great way to get moldy weed. Who ever told you to store a dried plant in a refrigerator?
