I agree if Polk Is not at AXPONA after the release of the first SDA’s in years it would be a truly lost opportunity of untold proportion. The potential publicity and word of mouth ... just can’t understand it.

I did a quick perview of the exhibitors and I don't see Polk listed. Are they missing the opportunity to showcase their new Legend series and especially the L-800 SDA's to a large crowd in the Chicago-area? If so, I will be very disappointed if indeed this is the year I can finally make it down there, I was really hoping to be able to get ears on the new Legend SDA's in a proper set-up. I hope I am incorrect and just missed their name on the list of exhibitors. Anybody know?

Neither Polk nor Marantz is on the exhibitor list on the Axpona website, but Classé is.

If Polk doesn't have the L800s at Axpona it would be a serious oversight and epic marketing blunder.

they might think like Bose and don't want their speakers compared to the "big boys" as that would lose sales. :'(

Maybe they will be in the Classe room?

That would be a good start, and while they're at it they should team up with @helipilotdoug who can provide all the cables for the room.

I don't know...They showed up at CES, AXPONA, RMAF, etc last year with their no longer made in China, now made in Japan Delta Series gear. The $9999 Delta Pre , $9999 Delta Mono (also offer $12,99 Delta Stereo) connected to $38,000-$42,750 Magico S5 Mk.II, and Tascam reel to reel.

Somehow I don't think the Polks will make it into that room....

Let's try to hit some rooms together this year. I'm interested in any room that isn't playing the Pink Panther Theme or Tin Pan Alley.

    Damn. :(

"AXPONA has been rescheduled from April 17-19 to August 7-9, 2020 out of concern for the health and safety of all participants due to the growing coronavirus situation. This decision was made following an outpouring of feedback from the AXPONA community over the last 72 hours.

The three most consistent themes we heard were, 1) fears of attending public events will increase in March and April, 2) AXPONA should still be held in 2020, and 3) reschedule later this year if possible. Although the Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel is booked solid all year, they offered us a week in August that will accommodate all of AXPONA's space needs. So we secured it.

We rescheduled out of an abundance of caution during this unpredictable time to provide the best opportunity for a well attended event and to ensure the best AXPONA experience for all show goers in 2020. We will contact all exhibitors and attendees directly later this week as we work through the details of the move.

Our sole priority today is to communicate this news immediately so everyone can adjust their plans accordingly. We thank you for your understanding and we apologize for any inconvenience.
We look forward to seeing you all at AXPONA in August!

    Sincerely,
    Joel A.Davis

Well I for one, am a bit relieved. I was struggling with common sense precaution, as the situation is changing daily. And I really want to see my buds again this year.

Just checked, it's not the same week as the Woodward Dream Cruise! Yay!

I plan to be there! Unless of course, the world ends as we know it!
