    I dunno -- looked to me like the exhaust from that thing kinda swirls around the 'pilot's' feet. Need asbestos shoes and socks to wear/fly one of them things? :#

    Reminds me of the somewhat infamous Martin Seamaster jet-powered 'flying boat'. The original design caused the tail to get scorched by the jet exhausts, so they changed the angle of the jet engines. :p

    I doubt it -- it should use DC assuming it's fundamentally an electromagnet.
