I'll see your Andreas Vollenweider and raise you a Max Richter. ;)

    https://www.deutschegrammophon.com/us/cat/4795267

I heard some of this Richter piece two weeks ago on an LP, played back on a serious hifi system, and it was very nice -- also soporific, as intended by its composer ;)

It was right around dusk on a pleasant and even unseasonably warm Massachusetts 'north shore' evening, and the whole effect was pretty fine.

    FWIW :)

    that's a big 10-4.
    :(

Here, give a quick listen to "The Other Sinéad" (Lohan) -- her recorded output is distressingly limited, but she was dandy, too.

Doc, thanks for the vids - didn't know about Sinead Lohan, and the tunes you posted have got me interested - will look for more info on her distressingly limited audio output. As distressingly as is Ms. O'Connor's limited output for traditional songs like the following and her battle with mental illness - which I side with over the detractors.

This is an interesting artist. Back-up vocals for the Stones. He's taking songs and putting them into a POETRY style. B) Pretty unique with bongos but like Hendrix I'm feeling. Somebody else too but I just can't think of him right now. Maybe Zappa?

I LOVE child prodigies!!! No matter what they are brilliant at.

    Reminds me of this...

My wife just showed me a video of my nephew in law solving a Rubik's Pyramid in 1/2 a minute. They say he looks at a cube or the pyramid and looks away for a few moves and then looks again and repeats. He solves a scrambled Rubik's puzzle ( either one ) pretty easily they said.

    He's 9. :D

No idea what is going on in this video. Nor do I want to know.
"Electronic music is human sound adapting to indulge technology, and for some, it feels like the signature sound of energy. New and abstract sounds over hypnotic rhythms can conjure vast soundscapes for escape, pleasure, and transcendence."

Enjoyed this video review of the new Audioquest Dragonfly Cobalt by John Darko. Great production value and editing. Really raising the bar for video reviews, in my opinion.
