Polk audio s60 or polk audio lsim705

Hi, I hope you can help me, I have a polk audio tsx 330 speaker and I want to change it for any of the options above, which one do you recommend? I will feel the difference compared to my former speakers. important to mention that I live in an apartment and listen to music vinyl

    The 705 is the better, more refined speaker, but your results will depend on what you are using upstream.

  • thanks for your answer i have a receiver cambridge audio topaz am10 i listen the music whith vynils.
    Will i feel the diference compared whit my tsx 330?

    With that integrated amp I think you'd be better off with the S60.

    Yes, the Signature series are better suited for music.

    The signature series is designed to be easier to drive than the LSiM series. Your cambridge is a nice little entry level integrated, but its just not going to have the juice to drive the 705s. Honestly, bookshelf speakers like the s20 would probably be better suited, but if you insist on towers definitely the s series.

    I am going to expand on this just a bit. Your Cambridge is a capable piece of kit, but is quite underpowered for the LSiM 705’s. If it is your intent to upgrade your integrated within the next 6 months to something more capable of giving them the power they need, I would get the 705’s.

    If you plan on staying with the Cambridge, then getting the S60’s would be the better choice.
