Ah memories. When I graduated college, my first job was at Pratt & Whitney. I developed analytical models to more accurately predict the cold/hot transformation of turbine blades. Did a lot of work on the PW4000.

Before I got into the automotive biz, my profession was aerospace. Gas turbine engines. Started out at Pratt & Whitney in Connecticut. When I moved to Michigan, I worked as an engineer for a small gas turbine engine company. It's claim to fame, the F107 turbofan.

My first gig out of high school was working on the GE F404 turbofan engines supplied with the McDonnell Douglas/Northrop F/A-18a Hornets... always fascinated me how elegantly simple turbine engines are, yet how incredibly precise the engineering needs to be to get them just right.
