    Wow - what a ride!

This series keeps getting better and better - the third installment raised the bar yet again, with creative fight scenes and settings, fleshing out of supporting cast, just the right amount of levity, and perfect cinematography.

    Highly recommended!

Damn - that sounds like a fun day! Enjoy the film(s)!

If you like the Bourne series, you’ll probably like Wick. Think Bourne with more action and a little humor, and much better sound and visuals. Don’t get me wrong, I still enjoy the Bourne franchise a great deal, but Wick is better. Oddly, both of these franchises seem to have Bond up against the ropes in a major way...

JW3 was straight up fantastic! The entire combat scene with him, Halle Berry and the two dogs is one of the best fight scenes i've seen in any movie.

Looking forward to the recently announced JW4 is 2 yrs. The High Table is about to come down.
    No excuses!

Agreed. Given his dedication to learning fighting/ju-jitsu and shooting/weapons handling, I was curious if he learned the sword for this film. Apparently, he did that work for the film 47 Ronin a few years ago, and just “brushed up” on his sword skills for this film.

I also really enjoyed his “tactical” use of his belt for defense - nice creative touch!

Wouldn't be great to be an actor and learn skills from the best of the best? I watched a show on the shooting and firearms handling. I believe it was an NRA program and they had the guy a lady who had trained him they were both highly ranked in the shoot and scoot world. Keanu said the worked him to the bone getting it correct.
The guy is dedicated no doubt. They had spoke of if he had wanted to be in the shooting sports he could be a top 10 contender.

I’m going out on a limb and allowing myself to be cautiously optimistic on this one. I hope it’s more like the first one, and doesn’t collapse under the weight of too intricate of a plot.

    Loved the first two!

Have not seen the 3rd yet, but looking forward to it.

I am SOOO not the target audience but love how real the fighting looks.
He really did everything and it shows!
  • JW3 was fantastic. We were either on the edge of out seats, or laughing. Keanu is one of the few actors I have any respect for. He always brings it, donates large portions of his salary to the crew and many, many charities. Lives very modestly in a typical ranch.

Just finished 2 & 3. Quite the body count. Good popcorn movie.
  • The movie should by rights be “nice!” But it feels bloated, self-conscious, and pretentious, with long waits between its few dazzling fights.
