Looks good on paper, and I like the large LED display on the front. Looks to be ok on features and mostly up to date, but no balanced outputs? That's a major omission for a home theater processor in that $2400 price range with discounts difficult to find.
That's the thing with Rotel and other small companies, they're usually late to the game with processors and receivers because of the development costs.
Personally, I'd go Marantz but if I already had Rotel amps a Rotel processor would be appealing. -
Yea, I just don't see the benefit of a HT pre/pro when the higher end receivers sound SO good for movies. My Denon absolutely rocks the house, and I have a very modest setup.
