    Nice bike and glad there was a good outcome. As much as I loved riding my bike back in the day...and as much as I would love to "catch some air"... I talk myself out of it each summer. Have never broken a bone and don't want to either. Between slick surfaces and flip heads on the road, I will stay behind my airbag. Hope you never have another mishap!

    Don't know how I missed this thread, but I'm certainly glad you came out this relatively unscathed. I'm a firm believer in ATGATT, even in 100 degree heat.

    I see people riding with no helmet, shorts and flip flops and wonder how they will survive even a minor spill.

    Thanks Mike. Yeah that was something. I did fire up the Sporty in the garage last weekend, hopefully this weekend I'll take her for a spin if the weather permits.

    We now have helmet choice in Michigan. I like the aspect of choice, but for me, given the choice, I'll wear a helmet! :smile:
