Aquaman

I don't remember the last time I went to a movie on opening day. But heck, the Mrs and I are off for the remainder of the year! Admittedly, I am not familiar with the genre of Aquaman, but this movie was fun. Dazzling special effects, soundtrack was incredible, etc. Nuff said. Fantasy movie, after all. And, the Mrs liked it! She's not really a big fan of the superhero stuff.

Cool. Shame DC can’t really get a foothold of the movie market but this one does look good in trailer form.

My wife and I saw it yesterday. Momoa was awesome in it. I gave him a 10 and the movie a 7 overall. Very good special effects and sound, just a little too much CGI for me. The big battle between two underwater armies, I couldn't figure out who was who. Felt a lot like a Transformer's movie.

Still it was fun and my wife loved it.

I haven't seen it yet but I all but have to hose-down the wife after she sees the commercials. I think that's the one reason she agreed to watched Game of Thrones with me.

Started watching this last night. Sorry, but it was just too bad and I turned it off. I know others of you liked it, but it was just to stupid for me - and I like the comic book movies.

DC comics last great one was Wonder Woman. Before that was the Dark Knight trilogy - which is probably my favorite series. Everything else since then has been weak in my opinion. The Marvel movies always seem way better.

It's all just my opinion. Glad others of you enjoyed it.

All the reviews of the actual movie say it’s pretty terrible. Amazing effects, soundtrack, battles, etc., but terrible dialogue and no story or character development.

There are so many decent movies today that have great action and soundtracks; I’ll save my time for those and pass on this one. But if you enjoyed this movie the rock on...

I remember when "A Thin Red Line" came out in theatres and my ex and I went to see it. After about 20 minutes I thought it was so bad I walked out and we got our money back. Later I'm watching the news and it was talking about that movie winning like 7 Academy Awards or some ship. I was like "are you Fking kidding me???) To this day I have never watched the whole movie but it taught me to force myself to sit through entire movies whether they suck or not.
