Willing to pay top dollar for one gently used 2018/2019 Series Daylight Saving Time Hour.

55 or 56 minutes would work.

Please, nothing containing any serious crime, guilt or regret. (My local Craigslist is rife with those already)

We do have atomic clocks now over the house. I like em mainly cause they're cool, but I get the added bonus of not having to change the time!

Got this guy in the office:

I am starting a PAC to stay on DST. Actually, any candidate who would make this a priority would get my vote, regardless of party.

Or we could just split the difference one time, and fall back 30 minutes this Fall. In fact, I'm gonna start doing this on my own. It'll be confusing at first until everyone catches on.

I wonder if those atomic clocks will work in Florida if that law gets passed?
I think changing the time is silly, it should be daylight from 6AM-9PM all year. Done. ;)
So, are you willing to put forth a little effort or are you happy sitting in your skeptical poo pile?

^Thats funny. And I agree! If we could make that work I’d be all over it.

Until then, or until we settle on one time, I’m super happy summer time is here!!

You can get cheap knockoffs made in developing countries on eBAY, but they're not returnable if not as described.
    Shipping's free, though.

Except the "spring forward" day itself, I like it, too, let the record show.

Without it, in mid-June it would be getting light here at 3am.
With it, there's still twilight (albeit deep twilight) at 10pm near the solstice.

I remember being blown away by 'summer time' the first time I was in northern Scotland in the summer. It was still quite bright at 10pm.

I always like the changing of the clocks. Fall back for sure, cause of the extra hour of sleep, but spring forward as it is a unique event and a reminder that spring is just around the corner! Yay!

The time change was a stupid idea for even more idiotic reason when it was started. Loosing an hour sleep that one night isn’t too bad, but the two or three weeks it takes to adjust is miserable.

In the fall, even though it’s much easier to adjust to that time change another bad thing happens. I drive east to work, and it seems just as the sun quits blinding me in the morning, the time change hits. So instead of two weeks, I have to put up with that crap for an additional two weeks.

I don’t care if they pick standard or daylight savings time, pick one and quit changing. It is not necessary, and the original reason has long been irrelevant, even if it was, without a doubt, the most asinine reason the U.S. government agreed on anything.

    Rant is now over.

Spring is great, we get to leave work after only 7 hours! Fall sucks for the opposite
reason (whattya mean it's 0100 again??)
And remember boys and girls, make sure you change the batteries on your smoke detectors.

    Seriously.
So, are you willing to put forth a little effort or are you happy sitting in your skeptical poo pile?
