Best post of the week... she looks a little like a baby seal

    90gg1g137jlz.png

I like these names you all thought of a lot...Daisy, Casey, Cassi. They all fit her well.

I thought of a baby seal the moment I saw that face. Cute!
That's my exact thoughts too. So I tried to think of a name with seal in it. This one popped in.

    Sealine... :D

Tony - we’re certainly open to ideas! Some we’ve liked are Luna, Noli (short for Cannoli), Daisy, Casey, Cassi, and a few others. But, we’re always open to ideas we haven’t thought of.

I always pick the old school names for dogs.....just to be different. If we had the choice of a female when we got Baxter, my vote was for “Gertrude” - Gerty for short.

My girlfrind and I named our half dobby and half German shepherd..Prince. B)

He stood like a purebred at a dog show. He ran off with a pack of stray dogs or he was stolen.

It’s been over three and a half years since we had to put our Black Lab, Scuba down. And as much as we wanted another dog, our hectic lifestyle with running kids and traveling was just easier without a dog. But, life is better with dogs and we have been ‘talking’ about getting the kids a puppy for the past year or so. As much as we should NOT have gotten a puppy right now (should have waited until summer), we just could not pass this beautiful girl up! She’s a purebred English Cream Golden Retriever from a local family (not a breeder). From the second we met her last night, we knew she was staying with us. We still have not agreed on a name for her, but we have some ideas. She’s been a little spoiled so far by me, my wife, and our two extremely happy daughters. She’s sitting at my side right now as I type this.

Absolutely beautiful puppy. Golden's are great dogs.

It's actually the second pair of Franchies we've had. We had a pair when we lived up north, one lived to 12 1/2, the other lived to 14 1/2. These two that we just got are quite a handful, I am completely sleep deprived!

He looks like he's thinking, "why are you late? I'm hungry!"

I just have to ad this too. My wife gave me that look tonight. For real. :s

Can we just turn this thread into a dog photo thread now? Because I'm loving all the pup pics.

    Beautiful puppy! Best of luck!

Puppies have to be cute, otherwise you would kill them for the trouble they bring ;)

My Zoey has nearly doubled in size in the 6 weeks we've had her. If she grows into her paws I'm in deep Doo Doo..

I was a little off when I said she had nearly doubled in size. Took her to the vet today for shots, weighed 22.5#. She was just over 8# when we got her 6 weeks ago. Yikes!
