Good music, a good source, and good power can make SDA's sing. Tubes make them dance.

That's nice! Unless of course they were all played to death on a changer with a ceramic cartridge with a bad needle.
... oh,and also assuming that the seller wasn't, e.g., a Jim Neighbors, Barbara Streisand, and Mantovani completist.
We'll hope for the best, though, for the purchaser!

For that size haul, if there are a few goodies to be found it's a score. Then sell the crap in smaller batches and get your hundy back.Good music, a good source, and good power can make SDA's sing. Tubes make them dance.

I see a lot of classical and 101 strings in that pic.

Behind the box of Slim Whitman imports. I there's a Boxcar Willie or two LP in there, as well.

So -- he hasn't dug very deep yet, then.
Actually, I don't think there are more than two copies of it here... but I won't swear to that.
How many Color Me Barbara copies is he up to?

My dad was a HUGE Boxcar Willie fan. I'd wager he had more than one Slim Whitman records as well.
-
I think there might be one Slim Whitman here; two if you count Christmas music

Pretty sure we're at zero Boxcar Willie, though, for better or worse

I have one of those just for the cover art.
Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

The cover art is, of course, legendary.
The model (Dolores Erickson) was also pregnant when the photo shoot was done -- and the cream was of the shaving, not the whipped, kind (the latter being too unstable under photoflood lights).

The cover was also oft parodied.
This is one of the better known examples, I believe.
