Picked up this local group's first CD, remastered "in" HDCD, at a GW for $0.59 today.

Already have Fresh Aire's 1-8 on LP & CD. Some of their others too: Classical Gas, Halloween, Christmas, Save the Wildlife... Steamroller CD's/LP's are plentiful at thrifts and used record stores around town. Usually very good technical recordings, worthy of a re-listen now and again. Content quality can vary though. :)

Grand Funk • We’re An American Band

When this album came out in 1973 I was a senior in HS. The "We're an American Band" song lyric "Four young Chiquita's in Omaha..." were supposedly hot chicks from my high school. In fact two of them were actually named (gossiped) about around school, I knew one of them. Those two girls walked around with smiles on their faces all semester after the album came out. Hard to know everyone in a graduating class of over 750. Of course I never had proof of any of this, nor did any of my friends. But remembering my high school days and knowing what all did go on, it's entirely plausible. But who cares now right? Just fond old memories. :)

Are you still using the TSi towers?

Nah. They were no match for the AR speakers. I’ll post some more comments, but I can say the TSi’s are better matched for HT.
