It's nice to be missed
I don't come around much for some of the reason the others prolly left, but also, because HD formats kept changing; started with SACD/DVD-A, then BD-Audio, then 4k, Hi-Rez downloads, and I got tired of chasing them.
I dropped $500.00 on the BDP-93, and prolly only listened/ watched to a dozen times.
Combined with Holyweird putting out pure, agenda-driven garbage, I'm pretty much "eh, not interested" anymore.
Literally, the last 3 movies I bought(recent production), was American Sniper, Lone Survivor, and Act of Valor (all 3, a portion of the proceeds went to charities)
12 years ago, this place was fun, now, it's tap-dancing in a minefield, trying to avoid the "professionally offended"
I refuse to argue with idiots, because people can't tell the DIFFERENCE! -

I have to say that I saw a post from 2006 that was saying the exact same thing about "tap-dancing around the minefield" so to speak, so it appears that sentiment's not entirely new, although often in the moment it appears to be so. Sometimes things "get going" around here but its still the only audio forum that I want to come to on a regular basis. There's a ton of good people here that give of their knowledge freely and that's who we really are.

Agreed... It's just that these days, there are more mines in the fields and now there are sniper teams lurking everywhere. You also need to watch out for the air support and drones that fly in and do their damage and disappear.
