My wants and my wallet are not properly aligned....
I suggest you try a new tailor.
Seriously though, since I retired on a fixed income, I don't know why I come on here - it just lures me into penury.
I have a proper tailor (my conscience). He makes sure I’m not spending money for bills on audio gear by misaligning the two intentionally .
Then once in awhile the two align and I get something new...
I don't have a tailor, but I have a wife.

My wife would call a divorce lawyer if I brought those Vmps home. Seriously.
These are close enough to me to warrant a road trip easily but I'm going to have to pass.
WAF block for him was my second thought on seeing them. LOL

That’s a +/- 3bd spec, which IMO for a compact tower is not too shabby. I have never wanted for more low end performance with my pair

Anyway, I'm broke this closeto the Holiday because if I had $1400 to spare I would be after these.. well maybe not the sub as it would be a bit much to ship even if I were to have family in the area do the transaction.
Harry, those have been on CL for some time. I was going to inquire about them, however the damage on them is heartbreaking.
There are a TON of speakers in the $5K retail price range but those are my dream speakers. Trickle down engineering from the super amazing Ultima2 speakers. Plus I love the walnut finish. Those would be end game speakers for me.
The base could easily be repaired to a point where no one would notice from a distance; its just some type of wood or MDF. Or as the posted stated it can be replaced for $80+ S&H. A simple fix for a $5K retail set of speakers. Heartbreaking would be if there was major damage to the front face!
The above is probably still fixable to a certain degree.

From the photos, it's only the bases isn't it?
Sounds like you easily fall apart. Keep your chin up.
I used to be in a way but my wallet changed me when I became a man.
I bet you smoke Marlboro reds.
Or maybe Camel's.
