RT16's

Hello all,
What is the going rate for a good clean pair of RT16's? There is a seller about 1 hour from me selling a really nice pair for $450. I think that might be a bit high but considering they where around $1000-$1200 back in the day new it's not out of the question to me anyway.
I never look to low ball anyone selling their equipment especially if it's well taken care of and I really want it.
Many years ago back in the 90's when these were new I really wanted a pair of them as I fell in love the first time I sat in front of them at a place called NOBODY BEATS THE WHIZ. I know things have changed, my taste especially since I own much better speakers now and I'm considering moving upwards one day BUT I still hold a huge candle for a pair of speakers that really tickled me and I never got to own. So what happened you think? Well when I was ready to pull the trigger on a pair the RT1000p's and that whole refresh line at that time just came out and they where sold out of the RT16's. SO I purchased the RT1000p's and tried to convince myself they where the better speaker and I did enjoy them for many years then. I almost picked up the RT800's and or the RT55 bookshelf monsters but the Built in subs had me at hello.
So if I make an offer on the RT16's what would be a fair offer? From the pic's they look very nice.
Dan

Problems with those are woofer sag. My son was gifted a set of RT12's and one of the woofers buzzed. I was told by Kim (stand up guy at Polk CS) to turn the woofer 180° and it should solve the problem. It did for awhile i ended up buying a nos off the e site.

Too bad you’re not in Salt Lake City. We have had a few pair come up lately for around 120 to 150.

They are still one of my favorite Polks.
