Some more pics of my find from today, now that they are cleaned up...

They are really clean, with one having a small spot of white paint on the bottom, and the other having a scratch and scuff on top. Terminals are still dust because I cleaned while they were playing, and i didn’t feel like accidentally shorting them with a moist cloth. :)
The sub works, but the volume pot is noisy, so I’ll clean that, and it will probably not be used with the Bostons, because they produce plenty of bass on their own. Very happy with my purchase.

    Another one of those...

The wife told him to sell it so he listed it.

He will then tell her it didn't sell so he gets to keep it. :D

audible illusions Modulus 2d preamp, S-120 amp. I have not heard the S-120 amp before but it seems to get good reviews. I have heard a few audible illusions preamp's and like them quite a bit.

I owned one ( the MDF production model ) and it was one the best subs I've ever owned. It even made me nauseous one time because it's bass was so powerful. It filled my front room with bass easily.

I sold it to a happy guy who LOVED it along with some RT55's to put in a dance studio. He even called me back after he set them up and thanked me for the advice of my recommendations. They were a perfect set for his space he said and he told me they rock! B)

I've been looking for another anywhere and you just don't see them for sale. They must be very rare. That sub equaled my SRS2's in bass output from my memory.

I wondered what the inside looked like since I couldn't see a woofer or anything.

That's a great price for that sub as far as I'm concerned!!!

Unless the acrylic is very thick it may not be as dead as MDF. I think that is where the concern is.

I was thinking about that. That center brace and walls look thick enough ( 3/4" ) but the clear one couldn't match the production one at high volume I wouldn't think either. But maybe... :p

That production model did not rattle one bit. It just produced clean bass in copious amounts.
