    So far, every time a pair of M12s come up for sale near me, something keeps me from getting them :s and I want a pair badly!!! (Well, those, and 8TL, 15TL, peerless 4, and 3.1 or SRS 2. Just the basics).

    Never heard any vintage Polk. Do they take well to tweeter/crossover upgrades?

    My wife may literally kill me if I bring any more audio gear into our tiny apartment.

    It's a Peerless tweeter, no Polk replacement. No real need to replace one unless defective. Recapping will always improve the sound. These are inexpensive to rehab.
