Crossovers will probably need work to get the tweeters to work again. I hope a buyer can test but still, the prices are VERY NICE. Especially those tall towers with the receiver for 50 or best offer. Beware of a set-up!

That's what I found out after buying my RTi8's and RTi12's.

I bought the RTi8's crossovers from Polk.

    Polk doesn't have RTi12 cross-overs anymore.
Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

Saw a set of Klipsch Heresy speakers in a pawn shop here in Camden today. Guy had them priced at $549 What would be a good deal on those? I think his price is too high.

$550 is Forte territory. $400 max depending on version for Heresy if cosmetics are good.

Oh yeah. They look pretty substantial. For the basement, WAF is minimal down there too!

Shouldn't it belong in the vintage Polks for sale thread, not the misc. audio equipment thread?

If I'm interpreting the thread titles correctly, "Vintage Monitor and SDA Speaker Deals" means only Monitor and SDA series speakers which I don't believe the above posted RTA series falls under.

Point seen. Then again, many an RTA LS and RT have graced that thread as well (all considered vintage at this point). Might be a bit late to amend the title to accommodate.

Im going to be looking for a pre shortly. Is this a ‘too good to pass up’ price’? Im not quite ready to buy, but have started looking. I also saw this Dynaco.

    https://ebay.com/itm/Dynaco-PAS-4-Tube-Preamplifier/173286940860?hash=item2858b4e0bc:g:6VIAAOSwjpNa396A

@tonyb Which would be better? The Dynaco does have a Phono stage... If you haven’t seen my thread in the Electronics section, it will be for a 2-channel setup that I’m having issues with a hum that I can’t seem to eliminate using the ‘temporary’ pre-amp that I already had. It would be feeding a B&K 125.2 powering some Polks (either LSi9s or Monitor 5JR+) and using a Rega RP1 TT and a Chromecast audio.

Right here is the real deal of the day, two brand new ruined LSi series midranges. Not sure if they are from a 7,9,15, or 25, so be wary of that if you for some bizarre reason want to buy them. Not sure why anyone would.

I know nothing about the Chicago pre listing, but I run the PAS4 in my 2 channel rig. Initially had a couple of issues but they were easily fixed. Upgraded the caps and no regrets. When I bought this I also had the chance to audition several other pres including a Conrad Johnson(don't recall the model)...PAS4 blew them away, esp the phono section which was important to me. I've settled on some Bugle Boys and Telefunken tubes and we are in Happy Camp. That unit looks very nice in the photos. The PAS4 had a short life due to some bad business decisions by the company but those that know this model in the Dynaco forum love it.
Yep, my name really is Bob.
Parasound HCA1500A(indoor sound) and HCA1000(outdoor sound), Dynaco PAS4, Denon DP1200 w/Shure V15 Type V and Jico SAS stylus, Marantz UD7007, Polk L600, Rythmik L12 sub.
