Hah! I sincerely doubt it. I just took a look at it, it's box, and the manual I don't see any references to UL or CSA.

The only thing it has is a FCC ID number because it has Bluetooth.

Anyway this is boxed back up now!

My suggestion - FWIW - dont' buy a toy.
If you want something along the lines of SE KT88, maybe consider something like this instead.

I think the issue is the input gain structure of the RCA "CD" input is too high. Maybe there's a way to reduce it with a resistor or something.

It's safe to ship...as long as no electrical pixies are present...it's in a stable condition. Inert would be a word I'd use lol.

Speaking of pixies: are you familiar with your canukian brethren, AvE and his hi-larious YouTube channel?

    perhaps metastable ;)

on the bright side, at least there're no lithium-ion cells in it :)

    in seriousness, though...

You should have fun with that box and report back on your findings when you... umm... find them. One is most curious.

This thread seems like such a good place to mention that Monoprice is apparently slapping their moniker on some other Chinese amplifier that is really, truly a vacuum tube amplifier.

    Lucky us.
