I think the issue is the input gain structure of the RCA "CD" input is too high. Maybe there's a way to reduce it with a resistor or something.

I suspect it's chockablock with soiled state gimcrack inside; that stuff gives me the heebie-jeebies.

I'd be willin to give it a shot but that means international shipment, etc. USPS recommended...cheaper and can do the docs...lol

I just looked up the USPS shipping terms and conditions for shipping things to Canada, and it says anything hazardous or flammable isn't allowed. Sorry @nbrowser.

Wait so there is another karma? Two karmas in one post. Didn’t expect that.
I also didn’t expect @clipdat ‘s house to still be standing at this point, but I guess I was wrong on that one too.
Not Tom or Trey or Jim just Micah

I've always thought the goal of high-end audio was not to have your neighbors bang on the wall and say, 'Turn that darn music down' but to have your neighbors bang on the wall and say, 'Tell your friends to go home and you can practice later this week'.

It's safe to ship...as long as no electrical pixies are present...it's in a stable condition. Inert would be a word I'd use lol.
Speaking of pixies: are you familiar with your canukian brethren, AvE and his hi-larious YouTube channel?
I was just regailed of his tellings of the functionality prospects of the non contact pixie detector. His home made version would be a top seller here in the states.

perhaps metastable
on the bright side, at least there're no lithium-ion cells in it
in seriousness, though...
You should have fun with that box and report back on your findings when you... umm... find them. One is most curious.
This is like an audio hot potato game. Pass it around, first to draw flames is out.
Hopefully not me

This thread seems like such a good place to mention that Monoprice is apparently slapping their moniker on some other Chinese amplifier that is really, truly a vacuum tube amplifier.

Yeah, that thing is exactly what I want around gasoline vapors!

The only thing it has is a FCC ID number because it has Bluetooth.
Anyway this is boxed back up now!
