Our beloved 4-legged child, companion, best friend, had to get put down today. Though being in perfect health for a 14.5 year old gal, cancer was eating her away from the inside specifically around the Urethra. Raise a glass this weekend please, even though you may never have met her. Thanks guys/gals.

BTW, YES, that's a Silver Oak winery collar she has on. Only the best...

I'm sorry Tony. It's very tough to lose a family member of any species.

    Trigger alert.
This is so poignant that it made my cry when I saw it -- but it crystallizes the dog/owner thing as well as I've ever seen.

Damn brother - hate to hear that.

Very sorry to hear Tony. I'll raise one in her honor. It stinks to loose a pet/family member.

Beautiful dog! Oh man... taking my German Shepherd to the vet and having her put down was without a doubt the most difficult thing I have ever done. I almost physically threw up in the vet's office. I still have her collar. People don't understand unless they've lived it. Pets can be closer than family members because of all the time you spend with them. Mine made it 13 years, she had it bad in her hips. She was my buddy. So sorry.
