IMHO it's a period piece referencing the late 80's and early 90's. Sort of a Bad Co. vibe. Interesting for that fact, but not one of my top tier favorites. Jimmy Dewar had already become ill and was replaced on vocals by fellow Scotsman Davey Pattison (who I believe still appears with Trower on occasion). 'Climb Above the Rooftops' is my favorite cut from it. -

Geat album!
Just today I was cleaning up some cd's and there was this NightFly case sitting by itself on the bar. It was empty.
When I went through 150 CDs I bought a couple of months ago at a yard sale, this case was empty. I have a copy or two of it so no biggie. I just put this case aside in case I found the CD for it in the boxes I bought. Nope, I didn't.

Listening to Slacker Radio's Martini Lounge station. It's good, except there is song called Bonnie and Clyde that just came on by Serge Gainsbourg (I believe from the classic movie) that is a little weird (not sure in a good way either). You judge for yourself, but IMO, it doesn't belong and fit in with the rest of the music on the Martini Lounge station:
