    Perhaps consider the 95 instead? The 83 series is known to have some tray issues. Oppo stands behind it but it's a hassle you could avoid.

    If I found one at a good price, I'd consider it. But from what I've seen, they run about double the price if the 83se

    Well crap. I received the Oppo. The shipper has obviously never mailed an electronic item before. It was wrapped in a single layer of foam sheathing and shoved into a box that was as tight as a second skin. Hooked it up, it would not read a disc. Any kind of disc. So, now it is on its way back to the seller for a refund.

    That was actually one of the reasons I purchased the Oppo. Its ability to play sacd r. At the cost of SACD'S, I prefer to make backup copies of them instead of playing the originals.

    What media are you using for this Travis? You have my curiosity peaked as to how you do this.

    DVD-R. It is done the same way as a DVD. You back it up as an ISO image to your computer then burn the iso image to a DVD-R
