    Well crap. I received the Oppo. The shipper has obviously never mailed an electronic item before. It was wrapped in a single layer of foam sheathing and shoved into a box that was as tight as a second skin. Hooked it up, it would not read a disc. Any kind of disc. So, now it is on its way back to the seller for a refund.

    That was actually one of the reasons I purchased the Oppo. Its ability to play sacd r. At the cost of SACD'S, I prefer to make backup copies of them instead of playing the originals.

    DVD-R. It is done the same way as a DVD. You back it up as an ISO image to your computer then burn the iso image to a DVD-R
