That's about 3 times what I paid for it so it's going on my To-B-Sold list. Most of the list are going to be at a loss items so anything I can make a little money on is going to be welcomed. My wife has been paying a little here and there but hardly making a dent. Some of these fools are demanding crazy charges like $32k for a 12 mile chopper ride from one hospital to another because the first hospital's cardiac team was busy. Sat at the second hospital for over an hour before a doctor came in. There was no need for the chopper to save a few minutes and they didn't give us a choice. The chopper was already there dumping someone off so they just threw me in and sent me on the way. Insurance paid them $12k so the $20k balance is on my head. That's just one of 20 similar bills we have to do something about in my forced retirement.

Yup. It piled on fast. 6 months later two parts they installed failed and another round of bills added on. No warranty. When it happens again I'm not saying anything to anyone. Then she can collect insurance money instead of adding to the debt.

BTW....AFLAC is great so long as you aren't self employed. Don't piss off the premiums if you are.

Guessing 85% doesn't translate to audio for the tubes. Nice stash depot though.

The Silvers do dip, but an amp like a Sunfire 300/2 would be plenty of amp to control them.

For $39, jump on the antique train and go get them.
Should be able to flip for $-29 profit.

Well look at the speaker series they reference on the box. Those things are OLD .

I concur I dont remember them either, but I got into the Polk game starting with the Monitor 60/T90e line which is pretty new compared to the other lines.....

I checked with him and it is actually for both towers as shown in the photo. Does that seem like an upgrade for HT against the RT1000's and CS400 I am using now?

I have both towers now. They are similar but the rti8's are beautiful as are the accompanying speakers and for 200.00 ,,That's a steal. Check that the tweeters work though. They are 130.00 each...if the problem isn't the cross-over. The cross-overs are known to fail on those tweeter circuits. I also have a center that's awesome and although I've never heard a cs400, I'm sure the center that comes with the set will sound just as good.

Run and get the set but ask if you can test the speakers for the tweeters working or not. The cross-overs are affordable as is a quick repair of the bad resistors if you go that route if they have a problem. But you can easily take a tweeter out of the ones if they don't work and send a small, week signal directly to them to test em. I'd definitely want to take a small receiver and wire to test them though. All of them.

I thought about going to get this deal until I did some research and found what John did. I then saw the add for just the speakers and no receiver. I guess somebody bought the receiver and then later in a couple of days the receiver was back in the deal + $$ again. I noticed it was listed in a few cities around me and also here in Wilm. too. I saw it was being flagged too. I don't know whay's going on.
Is it a scam set-up to rob somebody of their cash that go to meet this seller ?????
