Unique piece of equipment here. I've been using it as a DAC since purchasing a few months ago. I also had it connected between my blu-ray and my AVR to extract high resolution audio from DVD & Blu-ray discs. Pretty cool feature.

I bought this based on recommendations from several members of the forum here and this piece does not disappoint. This is like new, I've just burned it in for you

There are rules, Campbellsoup can't sell it here, but he can off forum. Maybe our rules should specify also advocacy for a sale ? I dunno, just sayin'.

Its a de facto sale utilizing this forum. He IS selling it here, and he's using the PM's to accomplish the sale. Its not really off forum. It would seem he needs to comply with the rules. Maybe the rules should specify also advocacy for a sale but this is pretty obvious.

He's been around for almost a year, and look, he even has a signature. I know it's not the point, and normally I'd agree but CS seems on the up and up, and the guys want the rare HDACC.
maybe the Druid Council can convene to review and issue an exception.

A sale is a sale in my view, and the rules state 100 posts before a sale. Once you start making exceptions, you have to make them for all.

@maingey - I had to sell mine to generate funds for a different set up. I like my current set up and I have a little cash to try out a different DAC. I'm not unsatisfied with what I have now. The essence HDACC is an excellent piece of gear that made a substantial difference in my previous system. I'd like to compare the HDACC to what I have now and see which one I prefer.

If it's that good at the recommend of Skip, and others here, the $499 price tag for new is not that bad.

Thamks @campbellsoup . $499 isn't horrific, and it does appear to have analog in which I'm not sure the newer one will have. I'm still piecing my stuff together so I have time.

This is true. Be aware of the no returns sales policy though. Once you buy it, it's yours.
