If I list it in another forum, Halo is first in line. The new model has been delayed with no release date.
USAudioMart is not an online forum @campbellsoup - it is a site where you can list audio gear you want to sell for free. You have to create an account & then go from there.Audio: Polk S15 * Polk S35 * Polk S10 * SVS SB-1000 Pro

Its a de facto sale utilizing this forum. He IS selling it here, and he's using the PM's to accomplish the sale. Its not really off forum. It would seem he needs to comply with the rules. Maybe the rules should specify also advocacy for a sale but this is pretty obvious.
The rules go out the window if it's a popular item that people want. He should not be allowed to sell it, but that's on the buyer. If the buyer is going through with the sale, not much we can do.

"Appreciation of audio is a completely subjective human experience. Measurements can provide a measure of insight, but are no substitute for human judgment. Why are we looking to reduce a subjective experience to objective criteria anyway? The subtleties of music and audio reproduction are for those who appreciate it. Differentiation by numbers is for those who do not".--Nelson Pass Pass Labs XA25 | EE Avant Pre | EE Mini Max Supreme DAC | MIT Shotgun S1 | Pangea AC14SE MKII | Legend L600 | BlueSound Node 3 - Tubes add soul! -

I let him know the basics of how to create an account and a listing on usaudiomart. Whether or not he chooses to do so is up to him. I am out of the running for this item and I wish @campbellsoup good luck in the future. A lack of communication doesn't exactly inspire confidence. To get to 100 posts is not difficult. He's been here a year and he just hasn't contributed enough. Until he does, he cannot sell on the forum. I get it and that's why I suggested a listing on usaudiomart. He can go to audiogon or eBay as well. That's up to him.Audio: Polk S15 * Polk S35 * Polk S10 * SVS SB-1000 Pro

If it's that good at the recommend of Skip, and others here, the $499 price tag for new is not that bad.
This is true. Be aware of the no returns sales policy though. Once you buy it, it's yours.
Make sure to go through the "getting started tips" section as well.
Wasn't aware of that. I'm reluctant to deal with any retailer that has a "no return" policy. Thought for the money it might be a good buy. -

It is a good buy for the money.
Underwood Hi-Fi (Underwood Wally) has the exact same policy. You buy it, it's yours.
Not uncommon for one man businesses who cannot absorb return after return of the ever fickle audio enthusiast.Audio: Polk S15 * Polk S35 * Polk S10 * SVS SB-1000 Pro

Is this "white van" audio?

I'll have to check their policy. I have no problem with a "no return" policy if its because I didn't like it or changed my mind, that's on me. My concern is getting a faulty product and the response being "too bad."

The essence HDACC is guaranteed against defects. The first unit that I ordered malfunctioned and it was replaced without issue. Bob is a stand up guy. No worries there.Audio: Polk S15 * Polk S35 * Polk S10 * SVS SB-1000 Pro

Thanks, I appreciate the info. Think I'll give it a try. Seems the resale market is pretty good per this thread.

The white van comment was a joke. Guess you guys don't know my sense of humor yet. No offense to anyone was intended.

I don't think you'll be disappointed. I didn't realize what a huge difference it made in my set up until I removed it after a few months of listening. At that point it was crystal clear as to how much better it was with the HDACC than it was.without it.Audio: Polk S15 * Polk S35 * Polk S10 * SVS SB-1000 Pro
