I want/need some CRS stands, along with several others I have read. One of you metal working men should get a group buy going for CRS stands, clones of the originals. I would buy a set.
I am a woodworker, cabinets and furniture usually. I considered making my own from wood, but it would have to be designed differently. I think steel is the way to go here, or maybe wood with steel skeleton on the inside.

Get a list going, and I will see if it's worth doing. The more I can build at one time will help with cost, but shipping will cost so keep that in mind...

    Of course.
They are (I mean were) my pair.
Here's my thread when I got them.

I sold them to this guy in Centennial.
In fact, I sold him 3 pairs of SDA's. ;)
Good thing is finally they'll get some upgrade since they are in your hands. :dizzy:

@Mystery I still use the Monitor 4's you sold me daily. I even put Larry's rings and Dynamat in them as well as sealed the cabinets with Powergrab :) Thanks again!

Well, I'm now a member of the 6 hour round trip for SDA's club. Just a few blemishes here and there, but all in all quite handsome if I must say. :)

Thanks! The biggest sound difference to me, not ever hearing anything TL, is the tweeters are way smoother than the 1c's. Don't know which ones the 3.1's have now, but look forward to the 198's down the road. Also a lot of very low bass. I may have to dynamat my whole rack. :)

Just did a 6 hour round trip to pick up my SDA 2A's in OKC for $200. Haven't had much time with them but believe they are original non-studio version with the original interconnect cable. They sound nice, but now I need more power....
