A bit of a modern twist on a classic

They seal really well but i think I've found one problem. One of the drivers is a 6500 and the other is a 6502.
Not sure how the hell i missed that. Question is which one is correct? The Xover has the 2.7 & 4.7 resistors. -

The reported qualities are almost 180 out of phase with what I think of as the sound of the 7s, in fact... maybe it's a Southern Hemisphere thing? The Coriolis Effect?

MW6502 should be the correct woofer, however, I have seen 6500s in early Monitor 5sHome Theater/2 Channel:

So a bit of an update.
I was installing the T-nuts to the PR and noticed when i taped the nut in that the front panel was loose. To the point i could see daylight on the join of the bottom panel. The original glue (which was a black silastic) had failed and i could pull the front panel and the trim beads off completely. So i checked the other box and while not as bad it was also loose where the front and bottom panels met.
To cut a long story short i clean off as much of the original silastic as i could with a Stanley box cutter blade and re glued the box back together. I also sealed all the joins on the inside of the boxes and clamped it all together to dry.
So hopefully this will fix up the bass side of things. -
When you are installing the H-nuts pull them in with a longer screw and a fender washer use an 8x32 x1" allen head (makes it easier) do not hammer them in for obvious reasons. I used an adjustable clamping plier with a washer worked great.Yamaha RXA1030, Yamaha CD-S2100, Yamaha AS-2200, Bluesound node 2i

Did you use T-Nuts, or Hurricane Nuts? T-Nuts suck, that's why we use Hurricanes, no hammering required.Home Theater/2 Channel:

Sorry yes it was Hurricane nuts same as theses.http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0002ZPETA
When i say tap them in I'm mean gently taping with a soft (nylon) hammer. I could feel that the front panels was loose.
I like to use a slightly under size drill bit so the nuts bite into the wood.
I don't want to paint the picture that i was bashing them in.
But I'm glad i did because i discovered a problem i doubt i would have found otherwise. -
Hurricane nuts are not designed to be tapped in, they're drawn in from the front using a washer and machine screw. The drill size is very specific, you should not deviate from it.Home Theater/2 Channel:
