Will stock jumpers just pull out?

Options
Will the stock pre-out main in jumpers on my Nikko NR 1219 just pull out or do I have to open this thing up? I know I could just try but I don't have experience with this and if there are set screws or something holding it I don't want to screw-up something inside.

They look to be steel. Just want to try an upgrade and see the difference.

DIY jumpers made of decent copper wire and RCA plugs should be a worthwhile improvement. Steel sucks as a signal conductor. FYI, you don't need a ground wire on the RCA's, only a signal.
