    As for the 'Hawks vs Panthers....its been low scoring slow games for the last 3yrs nothing new. I avoid these matchups as a fantasy player like the plague

    Totally agree on all counts. They would have had a better chance if they'd left Weeden in last week! I had a feeling Tony would go down this season. Arizona is going to be all over my Boys this week...I'm afraid its not going to be pretty.

    I'm not a Cowboys fan by any means, but having watched Weeden for two sseasons in Cleveland I think that he can get the job done for the Cowboys today. He is terrible decision maker and doesn't do a good job reading defenses, however he has excellent arm strength and can stretch the field with accuracy. I think with Dallas' fierce run game and playing to Weeden's strengths, Dallas does stand a chance here. I wouldn't give up on them just yet.

    Believe me, your not alone.

    Making money huh ? The NFL, a good portion of it anyway, is still tax exempt. A lot of these stadiums are paid for in whole or in part with taxpayer money then given huge tax breaks for years going forward. Sounds like a deal to me.

    You could make the case that the loss to the Seahawks earlier in the year was a 'good' loss. Getting blasted by the Patriots today is NOT a good loss.

    Fantastic game today by the Patriots today, they've clearly staked their claim as #1 team in the AFC. It'll be up to someone to come into their house in January and try to take that away from them, nothing I've seen historically from Manning or the last couple years from Denver leads me to believe that they will be able to do that.

    The 49er game was at least close and they had a chance to win it there at the end and just had a bad play. The Broncos were never really in the game after the first quarter.

    I also don't think my 49ers make the playoffs this year and, while their whole season is (and IMO will end as) a disappointment, my expectations are lower and the individual losses are not as hard to endure.

    I wasn't a big fan of the anthem by Chris Botti before the game, that song is supposed to elicit feelings of pride and courage not be the backdrop for a Kenny G tune. I got no issue with Botti and like a lot of the stuff he's done, but that was out of place for our national anthem.

    I'm still not sold on Kaepernick. I'll admit that was a great play on that 4th down yesterday, but I'd rather that play not be necessary to begin with.

    The 49ers started the game so well yesterday with the running game, but with Kaepernick I guess they feel like they have to throw the ball around more and bad **** seems to happen when they do that. If they're going to throw that much they should at least run some passing drills in practice so their guys can learn how to catch the ball.

    I think the jury is still out if trading Alex Smith was the way to go. I know they went to the Super Bowl a couple years ago, but I dunno.
