The Open Mind ~ Reissue w/ 2 bonus tracks including the single "Magic Potion"
From Wikipedia:The band was formed in the mid 1960s by four musicians from Putney, South London. Initially named The Apaches formed by Tim du Feu, Mike Brancaccio and Philip Fox and their friend Ray Nye. Nye left in 1965 and another friend joined instead Terry Schindler. The band became The Drag Set, who released a little-known single in February 1967, "Day and Night" / "Get Out of My Way". Shortly thereafter, they changed their name to The Open Mind and in July 1969 released a self-titled LP which has since become a highly sought-after collectible. The band, however, is best known for its druggy August 1969 single, "Magic Potion", which did not appear on the album.

Used to love that album when I was a kid. Haven't seen it since. Just got home from work and had to carry up new audio stand. 73 lbs in the box. Glad UPS didn't leave it out in the rain.

I was playing "96 Tears" on my FM transmitter at work and 1 of the Expeditors who knows I always have something playing on it. as he walked by he tuned in and I saw him stop & pull out his phone , click on a app then held his phone to his headset so the phone would tell him what was playing...he said I really like that one and he a made a reminder to go find that song LOL2 ch- Polk CRS+ * Vincent SA-31MK Preamp * Vincent Sp-331 Amp * Marantz SA8005 SACD * Project Xperience Classic TT * Sumiko Blue Point #2 MC cartridge

I need to get that Best Of ? and the Mysterians. I heard an interview with ? a while ago and he was really pissed that 96 tears was not considered one of the best 20 songs of all time or something like that. I sort of agree.

Remember this band? Sha na na? I went to this concert in mid-70's. Now spend more on a drink at Starbucks some days. Saw this ad in an old underground newspaper...Lol
