Heh, actually, I've already decided to spin that next ;- )mhardy: try Dylan's Greatest Hits Vol. II. You'll like it.
I'm enjoying v.1 considerably, in spite of myself.
I tend to like really good Dylan covers best, I think -- several of the Dead's versions of his songs (e.g., Desolation Row), Van Morrison's (Them's) version of It's All Over Now, Baby Blue, Judy Collins' beautiful cover of Time Passes Slowly, Sinead Lohan's version of To Ramona...
Somebody stop me!

mhardy: Try out "Dylan Country" if you like Dylan covers, its a great album of covers done country style by some top-shelf artists.
-
mhardy: Another suggestion for Dylan covers, this is the soundtrack from the Todd Haynes movie, with a great soundtrack of covers by all kinds of current bands. (We'll make you a Bobcat yet. Lol)
-
mhardy: another set of covers that was recorded for Dylan's 60th Birthday, with Red House Records artists. Really nice set of covers also. Check them all out. Resistance will be futile.
-
There's a "Nod To Bob II" also.

Mine got here Tuesday but sadly my turntable is still in the shop. But it sure looks pretty. So as I sit here reading the book I'll play Abbey Road from the stereo cd set. -
