Love that song! How cool was the band Bob put together there?
    Thanks for posting.

No problem. Might as well check it out...
One Amazon commentor stated that the reason for getting this is the 1973 stereo!
    From the $1 section

Yeah Red, that band Bob had at that point was considered by many as perhaps his best. Larry Campbell and Charlie Sexton on guitar. Time Out Of Mind is also a great album that got a grammy as I recall.

Switching to dollar section raids. First up:
    Play Don't Worry
    Mick Ronson
    Attachment not found.

Some good cuts on that...Slaughter On 10th Ave....now that is a good one..Very good drumming by Dunbar on that. Album was a sleeper though...Just didn't take off like it should have...Think Mick was still under Bowies shadow...

    Jefferson Airplane Takes Off

I think this might be an earlier pressing. I base this on the the weight of the LP itself.
In the 70's RCA had some of the wimpiest vinyl. This album was in the 6 boxes of vinyl
given to me by my friend Bill.

I really like this LP and was kinda surprised at that!
"I think this might be an earlier pressing. I base this on the the weight of the LP itself."
This may be a truism for old vinyl. They seem to have have gotten cheaper in each run.
My copy is the lowly $1.00 Rhino mono.

Yea...after the first oil embargo all LP's suffered....The Victor label touted Dynyflex..flimsy to say the least..they have managed to hold up though...

    In 5.1 Dolby

Chumlie inspired me to pick this one up, 5.1 is just awesome. And listening to that one inspired me to get the 2013 concert yesterday. 5:15 just blows you away, with a huge video screen showing John doing his bass solo from back in the day. Great concert.

Ladies and Gentlemen, from Los Angeles California, THE DOORS!
    Doors L.A. Woman original release
Raised white letters DOORS, ECT and I quote:
"2-color burgundy & black varnish-print sleeve, with radius corners and embossed "Doors" text . The front has a cut-out window with clear acetate, on which the band photo is printed black half-tone. The disc is contained in a yellow radius corner liner, which provides a yellow background to the cover image when inserted into the sleeve. The back of the liner has a black-print 'crucifix' image. "
