I wanted to come up with the most feared name on the net... one that would intimidate others not worthy of being in my glorified presence from even asking from where the name came.

    Obviously I have failed.(lol)

My wife's first name followed by my own, if you must know....

My screen name has nothing to do with me or who I am am. You could search to the end of days and you will only find someone that is not me.

I also go by alphaoverload, back to the early 90s. Good luck..

the Grateful Dead were not allowed to play at the Hampton Coliseum in VA due to crowd history. So they billed themselves as

    t - Tom (first name)
    reitz - (last name)
3 - In memory of Mr. Dale Earnhardt, Sr.

Most folks pronounce it as "treats 3". It actually pronounced as "T writes 3"....as if Tom writes on a piece of paper. Yes, my last name is German.

Now that I am sober, I could answer better. Halen came from Van Halen. Thought it would be easier to pronounce then my Vietnamese name. Turns out, many people pronounces it 'Helen 'which again did not turn out to well.

My fantasy baseball team (from several eons ago) was the Polarbehrs. When Optimum Online first became available, I
wanted to use that name for my primary email addy, but they were limiting people to 8 characters before the "@", so the A was dropped.
After polr is simply my last name... and no, I do not have any stake in the paint company!
So, are you willing to put forth a little effort or are you happy sitting in your skeptical poo pile?

    Mine is basically two parts.

"gimp" because since 1979 I have been and will continue to be a quadriplegic (a useless vegetable:razz:) and "pod" From the 1978 movie "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" were people passed out or went to sleep and woke up as something different (pod people) but in my case I blacked out and the next morning woke up a quadriplegic. Plus the fact that it's deemed politically incorrect by those in the world of spinal cord injury's, You should see there faces when they ask for my e-mail address and I tell them it's gimpod at whatever dot net (I dropped the double p because it didn't look right ("gimppod" vs "gimpod").

FWIW: Here's a thread kinda like this one from 2004-2007 What does your screen name mean?
