Just an amazing album for Norah. She does a fantastic job covering "The Nearness of You" , but honestly, Jo Stafford 's version of it was simply magical.

Hey Chums and P-Man, check out Johnny Winter's archive series, live stuff put out since Paul Nelson took over as manager, some real good stuff in there. I haven't checked for awhile, there could be ten or more of them now. I had the first two but they got magic feet one time and left with one of my so-called friends. I heard a few others, they've done a good job of selecting real good live stuff from his archives.

Of course, that first live album Johnny Winter did was awfully tasty as well, sometimes called The Progressive Blues Experiment, sometimes called Austin, Texas, sometimes called something else. Same show, actually not a show the band was standing in a circle in an empty Gas Works or whatever the place was called. Nothing but raw blues on that one.

For once, I'm surfin' and listenin' at the same time (I rarely do).
I am listening to the last released (if not recorded) album by a modestly successful British band 1960snamed after a type of insect.
    You probably wouldn't remember them.

Get back to where you once belonged, yeah... get back, Jo!
