Seen a few references to The Samples...Had to get out a double live cd ...Transmissions From The Sea Of Tranquility...I have forgotten how good this live set is....nice on a day like this....

Msabot1: I took a look at Amazon and they are basically giving away the The Samples self-titled first album, which was their best studio recording IMHO. They were a hot live band, no question. I ordered a 2002 solo acoustic live album by Sean the lead singer/guitar player, so at least he was still apparently working the road after the band broke up. I really like his first solo recording, Lighthouse Rocket. With the right agent, that band or Sean solo could've really gone places.
