Original vinyl. These are not Bob Marley covers. Bob Marley was in the Wailers. So was Bunny Wailer. So was Peter Tosh. Bunny had the sweetest voice of them all.

Found a $5 copy in good condition about a year ago, and picked it up just because of the cover. Had never heard of King Crimson before. Funny how something that's been around for years can still blow a new mind. Simply great music.
Well, like a lot of things for me, a taste of a good thing makes me want to rob a bakery....or something like that.
So right now I am spinning on virgin vinyl, a 200g re-release pressing.

If you liked ''In The Court Of The Crimson King" you might like this
McDonald and Giles is an album of music released by British musicians Ian McDonald and Michael Giles in 1971. The album was first issued on Island Records (ILPS 9126) in the UK and in the US as Cotillion Records (SD 9042), a division of Atlantic Records. The album was recorded at Island Studios between May and July 1970. Although McDonald and Giles remains popular among King Crimson fans, its commercial success was limited. The duo did not record a second album.
Ian McDonald and Michael Giles were members of the original King Crimson line-up, and were featured performers on the band's debut album, In the Court of the Crimson King (1969). Both left the group at the end of its first North American tour in 1969, although Giles appeared on the second King Crimson album, In the Wake of Poseidon (1970), as a session musician. Two other King Crimson members also worked on McDonald and Giles: Peter Giles and Peter Sinfield.

Do you have the DVD-A of Automatic For The People? Great sounding DVD-A and CD!

Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion."
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

Listened to both of these! Both sound phenominal!! Unfortunately, the people who remastered Magical Mystery Tour decided to alter the space between the tracks and cut off the tracks too early. Other than that, it's good.
The Close To The edge SACD mastered by Hoffman is phenominal!! I am still trying to figure out what master was used without the edit in the left channel during And You And I? Anybody know?

I work from home and during lunch break I cranked the 5.1 SACD of Pink Floyd "Wish You Were Here." The whole thing is outstanding but the Have A Cigar > Wish You Were Here transition is particularly mind-blowing. The part where it whooshes from full you're-in-the-studio-with-them soundstage to static-y radio/TV dialogue just out of the rear right channel got my dog to sit up, look around at the speakers and start barking.Main HT (family room): Polk Monitor 7 (1987-original owner) (L/R) / CSi40 (C) / RTi38 (SL/SR) / SVS 20-39PC (sub), Outlaw 975 pre/pro / Outlaw 7075 amp, Oppo BDP-93 Blu-ray, LG 42LM5800 teevee
