P-man, the Chris Isaak ST is CD. No Isaak vinyl in Madison when I was there last Saturday. There's a pretty good vinyl shop in the small town I work in so I'm gonna check them out too. Reminds me of that Bob Dylan song, "I ask the cops everywhere I go, have you seen Chris Isaak vinyl"?
And now for something completely different. SACD -

Just let me know (PM) if you snag some Isaak vinyl. So I can cross any albums you buy off my look for list.

Will do, Pman! But I'm not counting on picking up any around here. When I asked the record store woman in Madison if they had any Chris Isaak vinyl and, if so, where it would be, she said they probably didn't but it would be in with the rock. Then she said, "They weren't making much vinyl back then in the late 80's when he was doing stuff."

Finally got this cd out of the player I had to unhook for a bit. Excellent album!!! Especially on SDA's, although listening on the 15's right now.2 ChannelTurntable - VPI Classic 2/Ortofon 2M BlueAmplification - Rogue Audio Cronus Magnum II, Parks Audio Budgie PhonoSpeakers - GoldenEar Triton 17.2 Home TheaterDenon AVR-X3300W; Rotel RMB-1066; Klipsch RP-280F's, Klipsch RP-450C, Polk FXi3's, Polk RC60i; Dual SVS PB 2000's; BenQ HT2050; Elite Screens 120"Man CaveTurntable - Pro-Ject 2.9 Wood/Grado GoldAmplification - Dared SL2000a, McCormack DNA 0.5 DeluxeCD: Cambridge AudioSpeakers - Wharfedale Linton 85th Anniversary; LSiM 703; SDA 2A

Listenin' to the remastered/expanded Rhino aoxomoxoa (the remix, not the original mix) on little silvery polycarbonate disc, via an EICO ST-70 integrated amplifier and a pair of EPI 110C loudspeakers. Most adequate.

Rednedtugent: Not sure if I've heard the Infidel outtakes, can't recall this early in the morning but the musicians on that album were the shiznay: Mark Knopfler and Mick Taylor on guitar for starters. Sly and Robbie from Bob Marley's band on rhythm. I'm gonna have to get my ears on that. Does that have "Blind Willie McTell" on it? One of The Great One's best songs of all time and was cut from the final album. There are several different versions on Tell Tale Signs, a really good compilation if you don't have it, they made a two disc and a three disc set.
-
Oops, looking at the Tell Tale Signs discs, I was thinking of Dignity. Blind Willie McTell outtakes are on a different compilation, maybe Bootleg Series I. I'll check that out later, but Tell Tale Signs is an excellent compilation nevertheless.
-
Dromunds: Yes it is very interesting boot. An electric version as well as the acoustic version of BWMcT. Infidels is one of my fav Dylans. (hard to pic)
